Pole tents deliver sweeping spectacular lines and well-designed peaks and slopes that look as good on the interior as they do from the exterior. The interior poles are ideal for décor. The high-peak ceilings offer themselves to a variety of unique lighting designs. This tent must be staked into the grass.

Frame tents are popular due to their unique combination of convenience, strength and affordability. They are constructed with a lightweight frame so, they can be built and dismantled faster. In addition, these tents require less manpower than the larger clear span tents.

Choosing the Right Size Tent for Your Event

At W Production Group our event tents come in a variation of shapes, styles and sizes. Selecting the right one for your special event can seem more problematic then it is, but we’re always accessible to help you sort out all the possibilities and establish which style and size will work best for you. To get you in full swing with pre-planning your event, the ensuing guidelines will give you good idea of the estimated area you’ll need for each person under your tent.  

  • Cocktail Party/Standing………… 5-6 sq. ft. per person
  • Cocktail Party/Seated  …………… 10 sq. ft. per person
  • Reception/Partial Seating………… 8 sq. ft. per person
  • Dining/Oblong Tables……………… 10 sq. ft. per person
  • Dining/Round Tables……………… 12 sq. ft. per person
  • Cathedral Seating (in rows)……… 6 sq. ft. per person
  • Dance Area………………………… 2-4 sq. ft. per person

Of course, no party is ever a easy matter of everyone sitting at a table. There is often a food area, a bar area, a dance floor and a stage for the band or the DJ. In these situations, a good rule of thumb is to add 100 sq. ft. for each buffet table. and 400 sq. ft. for a stage.

Keep in mind this is just a rough guide and may not be applicable to all events. W Production Group will assist you in making the final selection after we have a better comprehension of your event.
